Place the bowl of dough in the fridge for about 15 minutes. Drop cookies on a lined baking sheet . I used a cookie scoop to make mine. Bake for about 12-14 minutes.

Simple Roasted Pepitas

WEBInstructions. Preheat oven to 350. In a bowl , mix the pepitas and oil. Stir well until the oil has coated all the pepitas. Once the pepitas are coated, stir in the salt. Spread the pepitas onto a lined baking sheet . Bake for about 10-15 minutes, shaking them pepitas about half way through. Store in a glass jar on the counter top or in the pantry.

Healthy Candied Yams

WEBSlice the yam into 1 inch cubes. Throw them in a pot of boiling water for about 5-7 minutes until they are slightly underdone. Transfer then yams to a greased baking pan. (For this recipe I used an 8X8 glass dish) In a measuring cup, mix the orange juice, 1T maple syrup, cinnamon and nutmeg. Pour the mixture over the yams.
