Sioux San Hospital is now closed, and the IHS-led demolition of the building has already begun. The Oyate Health Center, a hospital focused on the wellness of Rapid City’s Native community, has officially opened its doors. Native leaders say the building's design, right down to the art on its walls, represents a new step for healthcare.
