Health Forms Expiration dates visible to families
WebHeath forms are valid until the end of the month 1 year after the physician dates it. For example, if you have your physical on July 1, 2021, your form will be good until July 31, 2022, which is just about 13 months. If you have your physical on July 31, 2021, your form will be good until July 31, 2022 or 12 months.
Automated Health Form Expiration Notifications
WebI see that you can input a health form date in a scouts profile. I think it would be extremely helpful to have the system automatically generate a notification (like an email) to the scouts, parents of the scout, and/or a designated adult (like a health form coordinator) prior to expiration. Perhaps 60-days prior and then again 30-days prior.

Unable to enter Medicine Merit Badge
WebAfter Dec. 31, 2021, Scouts may not begin working on the Medicine merit badge and should instead work on the Health Care Professions badge. Hard-copy editions of the Health Care Professions merit badge pamphlet should be available in mid-November. Have not tested that - but you can go to scoutbook.scouting.org and enter it @MaryHarding.

Add a checkbox for insurance card turned in
WebHealth forms are not considered complete without insurance cards. We have to hold off filling in the dates until people turn them in. Many families remember the forms but then have to be reminded to bring insurance card copies. A check box would help in tracking this. Then it could be added to reports as missing.
Catalog Course Numbers

Show swimmer classification in reports
WebYou can use Roster Builder from the Reports menu or Print Roster from the Roster menu to get a report containing swim classification and date plus health form date. Note the report incorrectly indicates health forms are expired. Health form are good until the end of the month, 12 months after signed so reports signed on July 1, 2019 and July 31
